Bio

My name is Luke James Shaffer. I have been playing music for a large portion of my life and I have to say that making the decision to pursue music has had its ups and its downs. I believe God put the desire to play music in me and so I don't feel as though there is any other path that I could be taking. Lately, I have been praying that God's will be done in my life and when you pray that and believe it no matter what happens you can be confident in the fact that God has things under control. It's taken a long time to realize but God does have my best interests in mind and as long as I keep trusting in the plan that He has for me I don't see any problems. I realize that saying this doesn't mean everything will be perfect and that everything will go the way I want it to. That is what faith is about, trusting that God will take care of me and trusting that even when things don't go the way I would have wanted them to they are going the way the God has planned them to go and that is a comforting feeling.

I was born and raised in northwest Ohio! Yes! I moved out to NYC to find a life in the world of music and to pursue my life-long dream of living in a big city. I love the hustle and the bustle. I love that there is always something happening and always something to do. It turned out that NYC wasn't for me and I moved back to Ohio in 2010!

Just recently made another big move to the Washington, DC area! I am getting my feet wet playing music anywhere that I can and writing a lot. Hope to build an awesome new fanbase in this sweet new area!

I need to play music people, I can't just do this as a hobby any longer. I want to turn this passion into a career and a life. I want to bring something into peoples lives through their ear holes that puts smiles on faces and joy in hearts! I don't like to preach but I definitely give glory to God for my life and my many blessings,
